Patrick Chan Returns to Tour Joining International Cast Including
Elvis Stojko and World’s Top Dance and Pair Teams
After 29 years and nearly 1,000 shows in the United States and Canada, four-time World Champion and four-time Canadian Champion Kurt Browning has decided that 2023 will be his final year skating in the Stars on Ice tour. Kurt has been the most consistent performer on the Canadian tour, where he has been one of the headliners in nearly every show since its debut in 1991.
“Stars on Ice has been my skating home for my entire professional career. I am deeply grateful for the creative possibilities I’ve enjoyed,” said Browning. “In this upcoming 2023 spring tour, I look forward to showing the audiences my appreciation for the ongoing support I have felt over the course of my career with Stars on Ice.”
The 2023 Stars on Ice Canadian tour will boast perhaps the three greatest male figure skaters Canada has ever produced. Returning to the tour for the first time in four years is Olympic Gold and Silver Medalist, three-time World Champion, and ten-time National Champion Patrick Chan. He will join Kurt Browning and two-time Olympic Silver Medalist, three-time World Champion and seven-time Canadian Champion Elvis Stojko to present Canadian figure skating fans with the opportunity to celebrate true iconic greatness on the ice. These three legends will headline one of the most diverse and talented casts presented by Stars on Ice in tour history. Canada’s premier figure skating show is scheduled to visit Victoria on Tuesday, May 16 for a 7:00pm performance at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
