Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre Announces New COVID-19 Restrictions

Victoria, BC – Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre (SOFMC) announced they would be implementing new COVID-19 protocols in adherence with the B.C. provincial guidelines.

Effective immediately, the home of the Victoria Royals will be operating at 50% capacity in effort to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

George Fadel, Senior Director of Marketing at GSL Group, reiterated how GSL Group and SOFMC will continue to follow public health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

“Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre will continue working diligently to provide a safe environment for all fans, performers, athletes, and partners visiting the building. Throughout this pandemic, we have worked closely with the local government and health authorities to ensure we are adhering to the most up-to-date health guidelines. We will continue to do so with these new restrictions while providing guests at SOFMC with the type of fun and safe experience that they expect from us.”

SOFMC will continue to implement all other health and safety protocols as listed by the government, including vaccine mandates in which all guests over 12 years of age are required to show proof of their vaccination QR code along with valid photo ID. Masks will remain mandatory for those over the age of five at all times except when eating and drinking while seated.

Ticket holders will be notified of any updates if one of the events coming to SOFMC is rescheduled.
