Former First Lady Michelle Obama to reschedule event in Victoria B.C.
Victoria, Friday March 13th, 2020 – In accordance with the recommendation of the B.C. government, we are postponing An Evening with Michelle Obama, scheduled to take place on March 31, 2020 at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Further updates will be shared when available.
All tickets will be valid and transferred to the new event date once confirmed. Ticket holders will receive further details once a new date is announced.

Victoria, Monday February 24th, 2020 – Former First Lady Michelle Obama will participate a moderated conversation event in Victoria on Tuesday March 31st, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. The event is sponsored by The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce.

Michelle Robinson Obama served as First Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017, transforming the position and becoming a role model, champion and inspiration for women, families, and so many people across America and around the world.
As a transformative First Lady, Mrs. Obama launched and led four key initiatives: Let’s Move!, to address the challenge of childhood obesity; Joining Forces, to support veterans, service members and their families; Reach Higher, to inspire young people to seek higher education; and Let Girls Learn, to help adolescent girls around the world go to school.
In 2018, Michelle Obama published her memoir, Becoming, which sold more copies than any other book published in the United States in 2018, achieving that status in just 15 days and instantly rising to the #1 slot on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
Mrs. Obama was born on January 17, 1964. She married Barack Obama in 1992. They currently live in Washington, DC and have two daughters, Malia and Sasha.

Upon arrival please wait to receive a numbered ticket. Tickets will be handed out starting 90 minutes prior to the on-sale time until 35 minutes prior to the on-sale time. Once you’ve received a numbered ticket, you are not required to remain on the premises; however you must be present 30 minutes prior to the on sale time for the random ticket draw. 30 minutes prior to the on-sale a number will be drawn and that person will become first in line with all those numbers after that lining up sequentially behind. Those that have a number that precedes the first number drawn will go to the end of the line. This process is to ensure consumer fairness.
